I create unique wood bowls, boxes and other items from urban harvested wood.
There are over 130 different species of wood growing in the Los Angeles area. I get my wood from people that are removing old and sometimes dangerous trees from their property.
The process goes from a living tree to finally a bowl or other wood object, that with a little care will last a lifetime and be a thing of beauty. There are many examples of bowls that have lasted 100 years or more.
All bowls have been completed with a food grade finish and are suitable for food use. Remember - never put your wood bowl in the disher washer.
The bowls and boxes are sold at the Encino Farmer's Market and other craft fairs in Southern California.
